thats not going to work. getting a patent is not cheap and cn be a long process. they have a website so you can check it out

The cheap way to do it, would be to write it on a letter, and post it to yourself. Dont open it, and when someone copies your idea, take the letter to court (it'll have the royal mail date stamp on it) and let the judge open it. :lol:

Just wondered how this system works as i'm just testing the water at the moment. But i have an idea that is very feasable for the motor manufacturing industry which is a small idea but would really work and maybe prevent accidents etc. how would i go about protecting this 'thought' and approaching some companies?
