the quote i got from Clifford themselves was £350 for the standard concept 550 (which has the main features i want)

The Toad setup will cost me £280 in total.

Granted the Clifford has other smaller features that the Toad doesn't but thats a well known fact anyway. Plus there's less to go wrong with the Toads.

thats a good price for a concept 600, where do u guys go, sextons always charge retail and i dunno anywhere else any good...

not really m8 i been quoted a clifford one with all those features and can pop my doors as i have smooth doors for £250 with lifetime warrenty! has 2 spare channels which im gonna use to pop my doors but can be used for a variety of things!! also have sensor if some one get to close to ur car giveing warning (by clifford approved fitter and with a cat1 cerficate!)

won't be a problem PaulW, the only thing you want to look out for is the installation. If it's not done properly then it can lead to all sorts of problems.

Remote start is good if you want to get the car warmed up in the cold. ;)

total closure (inc sunroof as will be fitting electric one)
remote door opening (drivers side only + boot)
usual sensors n shit
not sure about remote start tho...

sure can. Even if you've used up both AUX outs on the unit you can still get these extra features hardwired into the alarm :)

yeah it should do has 2 programmable buttons according to blurb. I was gonna have the clifford cat 1 job, but with sensor options i wanted it was about £430 fitted.

will the ai606 control door & boot solenoids if there de-handled & de-locked??

if not, what one will?

dont like cliffords & heard bad news about them not being too 'good' plus there too fekin expensive!

been quoted £80 for fitting

If i was going for clifford it would be a lot more than that

just ordered the ai606 :thumbs: will arrive tomorrow then getting it fitted soon after. I ordered the dual proximity sensor and the glass break sensor :)

i went to RS Audio in birmingham for mmy Cat1 Avital MAxx1 (supplied and fitted for £200!) top quality work

only prob getting hold of them is a pain in the arse and there after-sales service is shocking!

James - give Forsters Alarms a bell - they're down Sunderland, near turners - havent got the number off hadn though. I got my ai606 fitted there for £200 and had no problems at all

Yep can't fault the ai606, mine is linked up to close the windows when you arm it :)

what ppl recomend, either toad or clifford etc, between £250 and £350 inc fitting, pref with pager.
