Take your handbrake wire and earth it to any bare metal spot on the chassis/shell using a lug and small self taping screw - jobs a goodun.

the other wire is so the TV goes off when the hand brake is down when driving and when stop the hand brake is pulled up and then switches the TV on.

have to wire it to the earth on handbrake level, (the level when on triggers the earth) mine is wired to a different earth so i can watch while driving :D (awaits people telling me im irresponsible (sp) ) :lol::lol:

maybe it should be wired to the hand brake light or where ever that meets, justa guess.

depends on how its wired up ive just got a stand alone screen, it will either need to be earthed or have a perm 12 volt feed i should think

I received my in dash tv unit, n theres a cable that says handbreak cable,is this just another earth cable?n if i wire it to where i put the other earth cable will it work!
