Take a look at the V70 form, it tells you everything you need to know

Get new tax first, then send off the V5.

is this V5 the form which u send off to DVLA, to tell them about the engine increase, by putting down ur new engine number? so do i wait for the DVLA to contact me for the difference or do i go get new tax disk?

So they'll ask him to produce is V5 in 14 days.. so he'd better have the form filled out and sent off by then.

Or if you're pulled over and the police carry out a roadside inspection, they might pick you up on it.

yes you can run it cos it dont say the capacity on the disc if you've sent off your V% (or what ever it is nowdays) they will just send you a bill asking for the difference at some point

If your tax band has changed, you'll need to send off the V5 to have it updated with the new capacity.

Mine only took a week.

right, i should have my valver back tonight, but cant drive it yet, as cover note hasnt come through post (dam bank holidays) so ppl who have done this conversion, how have u got new tax, do u go straight to the post office with the insurance and MOT and driving licence and ask for a higher tax disk? or is there forms to fill in, and send off?? iv already sent information to the DVLA about engine increase!
