yeh i knew about the gsi's with the x16xe just wondering what year the 1.6 sport was made for the corsa sport? | |

no as soem gsi had x16xe in them, and the were stop being made in 96 i think | |

In the Astra F, the X14XE has a different inlet manifold and throttle body (and it doesn't have the same induction roar as with the Corsa engine when fitted with a cone filter or drilled airbox), and the 1.6 16v is the X16XEL - only 100bhp, not sure of the difference between the Corsa and Astra engines. | |

got a X reg corsa that needs a new engine...looking for a 1.4 or a 1.6 and ive found a few at scrappies. |
