the WMV file will be fine aslong as it plays ok!

is what I encoded the vids of me in my GSi as the other day

plus WMV files stream over the net, AVI's dont...

ive just put it through that windows movie maker. its now 2.74mb and a windows media file. Any good?

its not a very high quality to start with, just a 60 sec vid clip on my little digi camera

get hold of VirtualDub and run the video through a compressor codec - like Divx, Xvid etc etc you should get it down to about 4mb which any noticable lost of quality :)

As for hosting, well im sure a few people can help out on that :) Give me a u2u and ill see what i can do :thumbs:

what do i need to compress a .avi video clip? its 8.89 mb and also where could i host it?
