I did this in my GSI, hit a HUGE massive load of water, its was like a river flowing across the road, heard a bad noise and decided to check it out 200yeards down the road, got out to see i had no side skirts left on my car, 15mins later i was home wringing wet after having to jump in to a river to get em back as by now they had been washed over a 10ft drop in to the river below. lol

Oh and 3CM i was also out last nice, pissing around in the pug, had brake turns very fun, lol

Im scared of lots of water, frightened of getting lock up in the engine from sucking in water

i find that its alright, i even have a cold air from attached to the underneath of from bumper that leads to airbox, and that doesn't suck up water, even when going thru about a foot of water.

Corsa C's tend to loose wheel arches when going through a puddle

its unvelievable how different my driving style is in the GSi compared to the old rot-box...

sooooo much more careful now compared to what I used to be & also wash the car near twice a week compared to once every blue-moon on the old one

Yes i'd say so, well modding it externally :) get the money spent on the engine or just get rid of your bin 3cm :|

lastnight it started snowing and was flooded everywhere, so i got in car picked m8 up and went out for a spin for a hour or so.

anyway, was making waves, bouncing off muddy verges etc.

and i thought, if i'd got my gsi side on and had got some sort of splitter i would prob of come back with half my car missing :(

so is it worth it? does modifying a car take some of the fun out of driving it?
