mind... saying that...

my dad took my old corsa to get MOT'd at a place near me, fookers did a rear wheel bearing & number-plate light, aswell as sorting a 'supposed' idling fault...

WHeel bearing cost £80, and they never put on the dust-cap over the castle-nut so it got all shitty on the way home & needed ANOTHER bearing  fcukers said i was trying to pull a swift one... yeah right!

number-plate light was £20 :!:! tried fobbing off to my dad that you have to remove the bumper to change the bulb, so I showed him that aint the case... he was a bit pissed off

idling problem was £65 & they said that the butterfly in the throttlebody was dirty & jamming... was ok the week before when I was rebuilding the engine :|

fcukers!

Rachel got bummed by a MOT station.

They charged her an extra £20 for

1. Changing a indicator bulb
2. Changing a sidelight bulb

I went mad when they started to explain to her why they had to do and what they had to charge.

Did'nt even give her the option to take it home and get it fixed for £2.00

FCUKERS

fookin rip-off merchants

plus headlight alignment is pish, there is a lil adjuster nob on the electric adjuster things, just wind both sides till the lights are lower & equal

just park infront of a wall & do it till there right

I always take my car to Vauxhall for its MOT, last time I went they tried ti charge me an extra £10 to screw some reflectors to my mud flaps so that it would pass (Got Blue rear lights)

Told them I'd do it myself then they decided to do it for free

£10 is the norm for headlight alingement!

£32 for a clip though, that is bad!

My car had its MOT today and they failed it on a snaped clip on the drivers front light, so it was lose. They said it a a specialized vauxhall part and will cost them £32 to repear it and they have it on order, so i said dont bother i will fix it myself, so off to vauxhall i went, and got 2 clips for 54p  i think they were trying to con me :D also they said the aim on the light was too high and that will cost me £12
