I'm assuming your fueling/air mix is not right, they will adjust to fuel safely if a sensor picks it up, but the engine management light should come yes, providing it has a bulb :o

have heard of the 20xe having a "safe" mode, whichcuts power to X% when its not running right.

my question is does an engine management light come on when its running in limp mode? And how do you diagnose the fault once you know something is wrong?


The car is a G plate Astra GTE with 100k on the clock, and I think its under-fueling or running some kind of safe mode!
