If its a fibreglass bonnet theres not much point in using a bond or sealer. Just use fibreglass... the more materials u use the weaker the job will be. So just laminate the fibreglass to the under side and top side of the bonnet. You could even mask of the headlight with some carboard and take and impression of the headlight to give you the perfect shape... (the cardboard will give you a slight gap to prevent contact between the fibreglass and headllight).
Need any more help give me a shout.

All I did was cut the shape I wanted out of metal - welded it on the bonnet - and then lightly fillered over the top - shaped and smoothed, then sprayed...

I think it looks OK ???

:look::look:

thingin of badboying my bonnet..

now what would i really need to use so it doesnt crack..

i was thinking 2 sheets of steel (for shape) and fibreglass them on.. and then smooth over it all..

what you think?

it would result in having to re-paint the whole thing.. not that its a bad thing coz the bodyshop did a shite job..

but if i just use fibrelgass would it crack? please note the bonnet is fibreglass n e way.
