If its a fibreglass bonnet theres not much point in using a bond or sealer. Just use fibreglass... the more materials u use the weaker the job will be. So just laminate the fibreglass to the under side and top side of the bonnet. You could even mask of the headlight with some carboard and take and impression of the headlight to give you the perfect shape... (the cardboard will give you a slight gap to prevent contact between the fibreglass and headllight). | |

All I did was cut the shape I wanted out of metal - welded it on the bonnet - and then lightly fillered over the top - shaped and smoothed, then sprayed... | |

nah you weld the sheet steel to the front edge of your bonnet | |

should always weld badboys so not to get sinkage at a later date, will just look shabby otherwise mate. | |

id glue the meatl on with a really strong adhesive like durabond then fibreglass matt each side then shape with fibreglass resin and smooth with filler. | |
