u have an xe in your corsa? and i wudnt be able to insure it matey gonna 1.6 the corsa but its my pride and joy..... not a race car, how often do local track days come up mate?

yeh, wanna eventually get into it properly but to et a knowledge of the mechanics etc and to run round the track and have a good time in.... basically

nah not got 4 to spend... dont have n e to spend actualy lol... astra gte is a prblem cos id get a nice engine runnin then want it for me corsa :lol:

mk1 escort needs seam welding and strengthening, then a nice engine like a 2.1 pinto on carbs or zetec or cossie!

Cheap wise under 1k astra gte is best bet or 205 gti,
upto 4k id say a kit car for handling and power to weight! ask me all you like about them chap!!

you wont get a decent mk1 escort for under about £1500
nor mk2 i don't think either.


manta gte would be pretty decent.

you can get the gti's for about £400
will be very light when stripped cos i think french body panels are particularly wafery.

also early golf gti?
