no fibreglass bonded to metal is not a good combination, in high or low temps, the metal will expand and shrink at a different rate to the fibre glass causing the paint to crack, and at worst the fibreglass to crack | |

you can get boot flush panels that fit over your existing one... | |

Get it welded. it wont crack as per a fibre glass one. | |

im wanting to get a flushed tailgate for my car but im unsure of how to go about it would i get a hold of a donor tailgate and flush that and have it sprayed ? |
