That was cos its overfueling dude, nothing to do with seals, rings etc, its carbon deposits left from the unburnt fuel, if it was oily it would be wet but the smoke im gettin is actually Soot from bad combustion and its only at low revs and for a few seconds under load

If it aint the piston problem its piston rings or valve stem seals.

Right if its using Oil and alot of it you have to be careful because even tho the C16XE is a storming engine Vauxhall actually did a recall on the C16XE powered COrsa's because when Vauxhall bulit them - some were shipped with Undersize pistons which meant oil slipped into the Cylinder.

ok, what age is the car? On the engine block cover, does it say ECOTEC or VAUXHALL? If its ecotec, its an X16XE, if it says Vauxhall its the better C16XE. Also, check the manifold cover at the back of the engine, should be black plastic for the C16XE too. top speed is about 121mph, and older engines do enjoy their oil a lot. If you are overheating easily and losing oil, you might want to check that the head gasket hasnt blown or valve stem seals knackered. Check the exhaust for blueish smoke, or dense white smoke even when engine is warmed up. Check oil filler cap for white mayo gunk and check the coolant expansion tank for oil contamination.
