My back plate is correct font and size, and just has a slightly less than normal gap between the numbers and last 3 letters, and I got a fine! | |

I had similar plates to these mate. Font was totatly readable but when i recieved the plates from an online company, the writing was tad bit small. | |

no - has to be the standard font as cameras like road tax cameras etc read them AFAIK | |

I'm sure the law specifies the text has to be substantially similar to the legal font, so you can have a different one. | |
