i done it with mine on the corsa...I even went INTO dvla office...said it takes upto 6 weeks for all paperwork work to be done.. | |

I know they change the plate their and then (usually) but when your putting it on retention, their have to check and reassign the original plate. and you carnt sell cars now a days without giving the buyer the V5 doc! I know I wouldn't accept a car without a V5 documnet! and even with one if the V5 doc had a different reg plate on it! | |

how long does it take to securly put your private plate on retention before you sell your car i.e. V5 docs need changing and stuff and I know sometimes theirs a risk of loosing your private plate! |
