pull off the big orange plug if yours is 1.2 8v, make sure engine is off, and hold it with a cloth in your hand as this gives the engine all the power , a good few thousand volts anyway ;) and dry off the insiude of it and where it plugs in, then it will be fine ;) | |

if you got the 16v model I had this problem loads with me scoop. the water dropped into the engine bay just above the spark plugs it stopped the spark plugs working right and made the car juddery and lost power loads. try taking plugs out and cleaning em. i tried running mine about but no good. | |

just went out to spray with wd40 and touched the accelerator and it just stopped :( | |

give it a bit of a run & open it up a bit after ya sprayed the WD40 in the dizzy | |

Could be moisture under the distributor cap or the dis module. Spray them (and inside them if poss) with WD40 or similar to get rid of any water... | |

left it running for a while earlier and it sounded rough just started it again and dont sound any better | |

sprayed on some gunk, left it five minutes then rinsed off with the hose. did respectable job considering i just used a hose. |
