I used two axel stands up front then rear on hydraulic jack with large planks of wood holding the weight and jack just touching torsion bar.

LOL say you need to work in the middel of the car underneath?

best bet is to use a 2 poster ramp in garage if you can.

Don't use a jack to hold it for any length of time.

Don't use bricks, they crack and collapse if the car moves.

Buy or borrow more axle stands. Far safer.

Yep, you put two axle stands under the jack points behind both front wheels, and the jack under the tie bar on the rear suspension.

Me neither.
I took my front wheel off to take it a local garage to get it balanced.
Left it raised by the jack cause I wasnt gonna be long.
Came back 30mins later and the jack had droped a bit and was resting on the side skirt :!
Caught it just in time. Anylonger and the skirt would've had it along with the arch cause they're blended in.
Now I jack it up and put an axle stand under to support it

Ya live and learn

Depends what you're doing.
I wouldn't trust my hydraulic jack to hold my car for too long.
