It all depends on what car your are going for and the price. I took my 106 to Lookers and the bird (damm sexy bird  ) said if i was to buy a new car then they would give me £2,500 for my car but if i was to buy one with delivery Mileage then it would be £1,200.

You'll get trade value for it mate, so the dealer can sell it on at a truer value with a profit on it. At the end of the day, theyre there to make money, so wont offer u loadsa money for ur car, unless theyve got plenty of profit in the asking price of the car ur looking at.

Well, they seemed popular until i decided to sell. Now no one seems to want it. Only got 61k on it for an N reg. Its a 1.8T. I've tried the audi forums, autotrader twice, exchange and mart, local newspapers, this forum, vw forums.

Best selling it privately.. thought they were quite a popular car to sell?! If not part ex for something you do want... Or advertise as a straight swap on some forums... or try do sell on Audi sites/forums... ;) What engine is it?

Basically i need to sell my Audi A4. Was considering a part ex at a dealer for something more sellable. However i don't think it will work at a dealer as they won't offer me the asking value for my car so i would end up part exchanging it for a car worth around 2K and not 4.5K therefore not making enough on selling the new motor?? Correct?? |
