Took mine in for a service at the local Pug garage, told me it needed $670 quids worth of work. Took to a old neighbour who is a mechanic and he said the dealer garage was lying and no work really needed doing and charged me $47 quid!

Rite ive finally sorted the idle and overfueling problem on my 106, it went into the pug deakership 3 times, had replaced:
*ECU
*Stepamotor
*Throttle Pointometer
*Ignition Relay
*Enertia Switch
*Coil Pack (swapped to test)
*On the diag machine about 7 times

And the fault was still there, the old twat in the dealership said that it is the de-cat and induction kit causing the fault:o

So on Friday took it down a local garage and within 10 mins without even opening the bonnet found the fault; the temperature sensor was giving negative numbers so was tellin the brain to pump about 4 times the necessary amount of fuel and flooding the engine! He ordred the part and i then replaced it on Monday morning; the total price of the part was£10.50!!!

Spent an absolute fortune in Pug and they couldn't find the cause, the bloke said that it was easy to pick up and there is no way that they should have overlooked this:mad::mad:

I feel a strong letter of complaint coming on:!
