LOL not a bad engine to work on! [/quote] yeah they are on lots of aircraft, but these specific ones are Gen1 engines, and those found on the 767, MD11 are far more advanced. The DC10-10 uses an almost identical engine though, and the DC10-40 got the more recent CF6 engines. The GE90 engines that have been developed now though are amazing. the engine designed for the 777-200LR broke a power record of 102,000lbs thrst!! [/quote]
