most companies as I am 22 and am going in september charge you maxiuium insurance plus an extra $20+ a day if you are under 21 | |

normally 21 in the usa, in all states but new york where you can be 19. | |

When I went wi ex, I had to be 21 to drive a rented car, but dont know whether this was cause I was going to be a 'named driver' i.e. not the main one. | |

23 in the states for renting a car. And that will be all companies. I dont think its a law, but its as close to. Some even go 25, especially for expensive/powerful cars. | |

avis rent a car is 23 places like hertz and europecar are the same.might have a local firm that will do you one though | |
