they wont fix it, you will have to pay.

so why would vauxhall fix it for me? The body warranty was only 6 years and my car is now 9 years old. Surely they have no obligation on my car anymore?

only 3 doors, the 5 door models arent effected :D woohoo

the way they fix it is to drill the end of the cracks round to stop the crack spreading and then weld up the bit between before re-spraying, tis a bitch cos if the crack goes round the piller to the quarter panel ya will need to blow this all over to match the paint,

Yeah, that goes without saying but there is that 1% chance you might get a decent enough person at Vauxhall (very unlikely)

quick look on parkers suggests its a 6 year body warranty.

Vauxhall offer to do this under a 10 year warranty.

I'm pretty sure of this.

Whats the solution to cracked b pillars? Weld over and respray? Whats the cost of that?

lowered or not though, 3-doors will suffer from cracked b-pillars, but as demo says, lowering it will produce more stress so they will go quicker than with standard suspension/wheels

Demo

i would assume so as lowering a car puts more stress on the shell due to the harder ride

3CorsaMeal

is this more common on corsa's that are lowered?
