Oli have you ever cleaned out the fuel filter on your GTI mate?

gti-6 is around 7 to 60. evo state 7.4 i think

The GTi6 hits 67 on the limiter in second.

8.5 0-60? Maybe 8 flat or lower more like.

Does it hit a genuine 60 in 2nd?

Pretty nippy, my mates got the Xsara VTS (equivilent of GTi-6 but 5 speed)

my m8 has gti-6 he can get 60 in 2nd very fast car i was after one myself but taking a year out of cars ( very hard) but career comes 1st.might get one next year all depends

The S16 was too thrashy, little low down grunt. GTi-6 was/is a better all round car. 0-60 means little, as I think the 6 speeder needs 3rd gear to reach 60. It accelerates at about the same rate as a 7.5 second 0-60 car. Ish.

That's how it works with the 106's, the GTi is the S16 in France. Wise-ass.
And I did ask it as a question, rather than saying it.

GTi-6 packs a little bit more power (167 bhp compared to 155), and has the 6-speed box.
0-60, you'd see about 8-8.5 from a GTi-6, and just over that for an S16.
The information's there if you just bother looking.

Isn't S16 just what it's called in France?
And 0-60 means shit when comparing road cars, it's not a factor in everyday driving.

i know they use the same engine but whats ht emain difference in these two in performance and style? 0 - 60 would be helpful, cheers peops
