Holding the trip button on the 04 models doesn't seem to work. I had to get vaux to reset it on both my SRI and the g/f's SXI. As they never did this before they left the showrooms.

nice one mate......will definitely get it serviced though.
May even get vaux to do it me, i'll see how much they charge first.

Unless anyone knows the cost, will be its 3rd service and is on 33k, what will they change in the service?

The mileage meter bit, the button above that mate. Just hold it in, start the ignition and keep it held for a few seconds.

wheres the trip mate?

Ive never paid for a service through Vaux....mines had 2, first was about £100 second was about £200 and didnt wanna pay £200 again.

I want my belts n stuff changin this time though so would rather put it through my mates dads garage cos he doesnt charge me a lot at all

1st and 3rd servives ate about £90-100, the second ervive is £180, i only remember because they fcuked up and got half the costs back and i recieved a cheque for £90.

Thats Deffo what InSP means, not sure if just any garage car re-set ur service indicator - but id think theyd be able to - check first before you book it in.

This morning when I started my car, where it usually tells you how many miles you have done it said 'InSP' then after a few seconds it changed to show my miles.
Turned it on and off loads of times now and it does the same thing every time.

Does anyone know what this is?
