That part of the dash isnt really designed to come off. If you can get to see under at the back of it, the plastic fixings have been melted to hold it on. If you attempt to rip it off, you may end up damaging the dash as well as the bit you're trying to get off. | |

The round cover covering the dials, keeping the dials in the 'shade' if ya like. | |
