yeah i just want to remove the engine but not touch the gearbox driveshftes or anything

i only want to unbolt and remove the engine

With the driveshafts out but still bolted in, I can't see a problem with lifting the engine out.

quick question i need a defininate answer on has to be 100% sure

can you remove just the engine, upwards, without touching the gearbox,driveshafts etc.

i mean just undo the engine mount and gearbox-to-engine bolts and slide the engine off the drive spline and lift it out?
