If you have PAS then that alternator WILL work with your car. The pulley on the alternator is a PAS one.

Has your car got PAS? If not then that alternator won't work as you won't have flat belt.

I have a 1.4 16v corsa and am enquiring about getting a new alternator.

I emailed a guy about one and got this response

Regarding the alternator, this unit is listed as fitting the 1.4i 16v 1994-1999. To be double sure just check that your original alternator is an internal fan ( there is no fan behind the pulley- it is inside the casing) and that it is a multi-v pulley (flat belt).

How do i go about checking for this fan and type of belt????

HELP!!
