adaware doesnt find everything, neither does spybot search and destroy. this is why its best to use both :)

It's really strange I am not that worried apart from the fact there may be some dodgy spware on the machine now.:o

just re read what you wrote. :lol: Never heard of the home page change not working....

you can change the home page back just by going to tools, internet options, and then resetting it. Have you also got a search bar at the top now too?

I have got a bit of a problem after downoading a patch off the internet today, Internet explorer's default page has been changed to some shitty search engine.

I have run Ad-aware 6, deleted cookies & temp internet files still no joy and no matter how many times I change it, every time it is closed and re-opened the same page re-apears. :mad:

Any ideas???
