Are you starting it from cold when this happens and does it go away when warmed up??

although there is some bad rust around the front of my car thats why i decided its ot worth kitting this 1 , wait to get a newer 1, so it could be bolts loose,

when i changed the front bumper all the bolts along the bottom , about 4 or sumit, they would go back in because the hols were just crumbling, and theres a middle support bar thing that goes down the center behind the bumper., thats corroded and broke in 2 :|, outter of the cars ok, appart from the tailgate

i think ill take it to a garage and have it checked, as for te ticking noise when revs are going down ? its not very loud at all just now, but dont want to leave it to get bad if its anything thats not normal and may cause more damage if left, or leave me with an engine that sounds like an early ford lol

I'm shit too.. But symptoms sounded similar to mine and i took it to garage and had a new exhaust manifold gasket fitted and problem was solved. Apparantly it was shattered.. :boggle:

Good luck.

Random bits of plastic hanging around the place. The 1.2 8v engines seem to have a few of them. Try turning the engine on and running it and looking under the bonnet, put your hand on parts, if it stops rattling then you found it... :)

could be rusted round the bolts so now may not be holding very well.

Have you got a modified exhaust?

its doesnt see mlike an exhaust type rattle, almost like plastic rattling
