	the msconfig from an XP machine will work on windows 2000 if you dont want to edit the registry

	you need to look in the registy. start > Run > Regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Run Clear some shit out of here. this is where alot of software, and viruses start from delete stuff like winzip, winamp agent and quicktime etc.. but nothing that looks important to windows

	icy i mean programs that physicaly start running as soon as windows turns itself on, such as msn. not just the name of programmes in the start menu!

	Right on start up...i get half a tonne of crap start up, which I dont want to! Im running windows 2000 so cant use msconfig to edit what starts and what dont....so has anyone any suggestions for me...please :D Cheers boys and girls:thumbs:
