Before you do this - I've found the old post about fault code 35. This is idle control valve misreading. The ECU would give a fault code if the sensor was reading wrong. So you might need one of them instead. | |

Cannot find it for shit grrrrr any pics of general area? says in my haynes for 97-00 on 1.6 ecotecs its located behind the right hand footwell trim pannel, is that behind the battery? | |

ECU,I think is located back left hand side of the engine bay,attached to the bulkhead.. | |

It should be on the ECU,on a little white sticker. | |

no its what the scrap yard gave me, told me to look at my ECU and see what number it is as it must be the same or it won't work. Does it say where the ECU is in Haynes manual? gona have sum fun over the weekend hmmmmmmm! | |
