yep sounds very familiar, it is supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread, If u can master matlab then u will be the master of all your troubles. I had to write 200 lines of code to work out the top speed and tractive efforts on this car, wasnt fun!!!

im doing mechanicaly engineering aswell at northants, doing 2year hnd then top up to degree in final year or two depending on how i get on with my hnd. i find it all basic stuff so far, on final year of hnd!

Did mech eng. 5 years at college on day release. Ended up qualified jig and tool designer, then got made redundant within a month:mad:

Just wondering if there's anyone alse as stupid as me for picking such a hard (for me) degree.

Im actually studying Mech & Auto engineering @ Birmingham. Too much theory based work for my liking though :(. Just hope it gets better next year...
