thats what was said the Lambda sensor and haynes manual talks about it reading info from the cat

your lambda could be screwed into the cat part ofthe exhaust, the decat pipe might not have a hole for it

my pvd decat was just a bit pipe in right shape to bridge gap...

Rightho,

i have one of these and a cat, used to have decat fitted, but car was too loud and keep getting told by garage that engine needs a re-tune because of some sensor :boggle:

is there any truth in that?

can u buy silenced decat pipes or are they all just a straight thru bit of pipe?
