Yeah, i just usually take it easy for the last 5-10 mins of a journey. But to be honest, i dont use the turbo much anyway. Get away with changing up at 2.5k in a derv! :D

If i have just booted before coming to a stop, i'll give it 30sec or so! Dunno if thats ok, but nevermind! lol.

Nik waste of time letting it idle plus your not coolign the oil any way or the coolent as you aint' moving just makes the oil/coolent hotter

sold mine, I just take it easy for final 5-10 mins on way home i.e no spooling up, let car idle for 1 min or so on drive :)

it's a load of crap to behonest. turbo timers are a waste of cash. you just dont; boost going home.

one thing Vibs, whats the deal with spinning down a turbo when turning off the engine?! A mate had a celica with a turbo, and it had a timer where the engine stayed running to keep oil flowing through the turbo

as i know sweet f/a when it comes to turbo's and i want my next car to be a turbo, maybe Astra Gsi :)
