yeah you can't reset ecu's by disconecting the battery:boggle:

how can people say that disconnecting battery resets ecu? when i send em back vauxhall, they stay in storage in for a month, yet they are still readable-this proves they dont reset

u can try it and it might work....................:o

after my decat pipe and induction kit was fitted on my 1.6 I reset ecu and definatly felt a small difference...ticked over better...

probably not mate but if you wanna try just disconnect the battery for over an hour mate ;)
