no, the car that the engine came out of had a/c but i havent so took a/c pump off, but the mounts or something are different if u dnt have air con so ive either gotta just bolt the pump on and run the fan belt round or buy a new bracket thing from vaux | |

cant get a fan belt to fit without the a/c pump unless i get a new bracket for the P/S pump from vaux which is gonna cost a fair bit | |

ahh right might loose a tiny bit of power but nothing major.can you not just unbolt the lot? or is that a pain in the arse | |

it wont as the air con wont be engaged so it will just spin like a pulley | |

litterally just the fan belt going round the pulley bit. nothing else connected. | |

Can you just confirm that if the pump is not connected, it isnt going to drain power from the engine?? |
