i've had a few pints so i can't be bothered to read the whole post but i'm 19, with no NCB paying around £1500 on a SRi. if you can get a GSi for the same price at 18 i will kick your ass :)

CIS i'm with btw

yup, thats what im thinking. problem is i have to keep with my current company (norwich union) or i wont get my years no claims. rang up earlier and if i change to an sri it goes down by £20 a month, also tried for a clio 1.8 16v, wouldnt even quote me. the bastards

i have a saxo vtr now though, im thinking about the 8v sri but im worried ill get one then just hate the performance. (im selling mine cos i need the money, in case you're wondering). so wondering if a gsi would be better, or at least a gsi engine in an sri

tis group 11 for the pre ecotec, 10 for the ecotec, at 18 it was costing me £2200 through my mum, but was £1300 fc on my own when i was 19

best off getting something smaller till you get a bit more experience. a sport (1.4) or a 1.2 16v would be a bit better/safer:lol:

gsi is group 10, although loads of insurance companies wont insure grp 10 cars unless you are 21.

Greg_M
