Yes...its all just shabby.

I think their whole view on the matter is gonna be "if u have windows, u need to let at least 70% light thru". If its a van, then obviously its a van, but u cant have a"hybrid".

As for a police crack down on tints.......i wud worry coz i live near a cop station, and have 30%+ tints all round

i would say it was shite about the windows as well, what about vans. How do they expect you to see through sheet metal?

im sorry but that is absolute shite

i had NO rear side windows and it was perfectly legal, u do not need any light to pass through them, same as rear window

Theres a crackdown starting Monday or something, every police car will be equpped with a light meter, offenders will have 14 days to make the tints legal

I just cant keep up with these ever changing laws. Its gettin stupid. It was changed on the 1st Jan, now again Feb 13th.....its just gettin rediculous.

I've got my 30% all round and had NO trouble so far, despite have untold amounts of police drive past me in traffic the opposite way etc and not give 2 shits.

I'm just waiting for people with tints to come on here with their PERSONAL stories of getting ram raided from behind by the law. OK a new law is there but its only useful if the police enforce it well surely?

is any1 wiv medium tints on the side, taking it bk and changing it to executive tint? now that the law (Friday 13th) is now only letting u have 70% light through on all 4 side windows. ive just had mine tinted to med smoke last week aswell so im not happy!

it says here in the paper that if a inspector sees ur car that doesnt let 70% light through ON ALL 4 side windows u will get a instant BAN and they will get a breakdown service to tow u away!! or they will let u take ur car to the nearerst garage and get them taken off.

Bastards!
