Well my insurance runs out in November, so it'll need to be transferred. I have had quotes for when i'm 19 and on my dad's name its about £950

I have done all teh calculations, the price i will get for mine, the amount left oweing, the deposit i will put down on the new one etc.

Well i'm currently paying £134 per month finance on mine, i'd may as well trade it in, pay a few hundred for the step up and pay £185 per month

it all depends on the money, no point putting yourself in loads of debt,

if you aint got the money to buy a car, why buy it and have to balance the books everyweek to make sure

but look at all the work and money you have spent on yours? you wount get that back on trade in, and also you'll be lucky to get the percentage off, and them take trade in.

tip for the future people, you'll save far more by negotiating a car without trade in, then trading one in and trying to haggle.

I really want a 1.8 Sri for various reasons, these are the facts:

I love my car, and just wished it had the performance to keep up with the looks.

I need a show car for my company, and i feel that modding a 1.2 is a bit lame, and it would be much more beneficial to mod a 1.8

With quite alot of work i can get 170ish BHP from the 1.8

On the other side, i am 18, i will be insuring it under my Dad's name and it will still cost a bomb.

I get around 14 - 18% off the price of it brand new, as well as 0% finance (i think)
