The thing is right is that my mate says A Level Maths was easy compared to GCSE and i found GCSE Maths solid but this stuff i can do but it takes ages. Just after see what haps anyway, might end up leaving if they bring in these topup fees anyway.

GCSE maths was pish, but A-level.....oh my god! was alright at first, then we got into Quadratic equations, differentiation, Binomials and Logarithms...it was all bollocks! still i got a C but its was pointless cos i will never use any of it ever again and if someone asked me a question on it now i wouldnt have a clue!

They don't do a book or recomend a book for this module. It's A level standard maths plus a bit of other stuff they have thrown in just for fun. I can do it but it took me an hour to cover 45% of the questions that should take 45 mins to complete tops.

I really can't do maths and at uni we have to do a whole module on it . Can anyone recomend a good GCSE Maths book i can buy. It's gotta be the Advanced stuff. I think i should start with the GCSE stuff and then go onto A level stuff a bit later. |
