i suppose the wheel cap will protect it in a way

wheel bearings aint that much anyway - and easy to do - under 20 quid each

the cap on the wheel will stop that, and aroud it inside is sealed against the drum, on the back anyways, how much are bearings ? what else can it nacker?

taking them off with allow dust and dirt to get to the bearing, shortening the life of the bearing

wrong forum btw

I took the front ones off and it's been ok.
I was advised not to take my rear ones off, but plenty people on here do it and say it's ok.

the masitaly VT5 has a problem with the senter caps, they dont fit on, the cars bearing kind of cover sticks through the hole on the wheel., the conter caps fit on just and no more with the bearing covers off, is it ok for the car to take them off, they are meant to be packed with grease arent they ?
