I rang liverpool victoria last year for insurance, was 21 at the time...

had 2 yrs NCB, and they were very dubious about the mods & said i'd be lucky to get cover

only had alloys, full 'zaust, coilovers, V6 brakes

will try again some other time when new engine is in...

very true, but what im saying is that i wouldnt claim for my own car, only the other parties.

therefore they would have no reason atall to look at my car. unless its under extreme circumstances.

Try explaining that concept to the driver of the Ferrari you might crash into. Insurance is not there just to cover your own back.

Mention the words 'boost controller' to the insurance company and see how far they run......

no, but please tell me how they could possibly tell that i have modified the engine? the screws i turned can be adjusted anyway by a garage at a service, all i did was optimise the performance by fiddling with them for ages until i was happy.

I got told from HIC that the only thing that will bump ur premium up is NOS

Kris TD

and yes they told me only changing the cc of the engine will effect it.
