Tried this aswell, i thought it would work but we had to wind the platform up a long way so that the spring wouldnt be slack and therefore possibly bounce out that i made no difference:(

try winding the platform below the rim, where there is no alloy (if it makes sence)

Thought of that one but the spring is the same size as the spring platform and so wouldnt physically happen:(

I dont want to put 8mm spacers on as i would effectively have et 37 wheels and i would get alot of scrubbing:(

I just need some ideas of springs like M2RV H said!

The only other idea i have had is to cut a coil out:look: I know it sounds dodgy but it wouldnt be unsafe as the helper spring will keep the spring in place and takes up the slack:look:

I would use spacers if i didnt have to use to wide ones!

But ive tried a 5mm spacer and that aint wide enough i would need 8mm minimum i think, i know it doesnt look that way in the pic but it is very tight:(

are u sure?

mine are the same set up but spax, again i need spacers

u COULD get shorter/softer springs and wind the mall the way up over the wheel on your 16s, i know on my 17s this is not possible

i needed at least 4mm spacers to clear the tyre and 5mm spacers to clear the rim of the wheel

i use 3mm spacers BUT the tyre pushed on the spring platform

its worn a line out of the front tyre inside wall, nothing major

i have also done a LOT of arch work as my wheels now equal et42 17" and with 2ppl in the car the wheels sits right under the arch and still stees ok

hope this helps

Some of you may remember that i had problems with getting my FK coilovers to drop low enough on the fron of my car:(

Well ive taken a few pics to show what the problem is and to see if anyone can come up with any ideas:boggle:

As you can probably see the problem ive got is i cant wind the spring platform as far as i want because the wheel is to close to the shock:(

As you can see ive got a helper spring on the bottom now instead of the normal one, this was because it fully compresses when the car is down but takes up the slack of the main spring when it travels, but it still doesnt drop the car enough:(

So anyone got any ideas:look:
