you only bigger injectors if your going to turn the boost up so much that the OE spec ones cannot flow enough fuel. I would suspect you'd need to uprate the fuel pump and pressure as well.

slighty faster acceleration but lower top speed. Also more heavy duty i gather

yes i have planned lightened flywheel, remap, 4 bar fuel pressure reg and reworked throttle bodies and not even considered uprating the injectors!!

u think its worthwhile combination with the aforementioned?

thats cool then. Steve :) who i go to the rolling roads n shows withs is thinking doing it. Just bought an STI Gear box gets it back tomorrow. You need to be carful with that as most shatter under the power. hes got TDO5 aswell. Depending on how gearbox goes hes gonna get that installed. But mapping place is in london

i know your not silly and will just jam in 4 bigger injectors
but get it wrong and you can put too much fuel in and it causes bore wash which fucks the engine

On the scoob youll be looking at being able to hit 350bhp.

But its a case if the clutch and gearbox can take it. But then again if your thinking doing it youd need uprated Fuel pump, A FMIC, bigger turbo to make it worth while, Lighten and balance fly wheel. Something else too, cant remeber if its an actuator or something like that. oh Tek 2/3 aswell.Something internal aswell cant think of there name :boggle:

just fitting bigger injectors will do nothing for perfomance, needs to be matched to the ecu airflow setting and the fuelpump

Kerry

also fuel pressure regs and a remap of ure ecu

Marc

So basically its a way of upping your fueling?

Kerry

puts more fuel in and perhaps quicker

bigger is always better

Dont really know what im on about hence the vagueness of this question!

How does upgrading the injectors benefit the car?
