i would drain the tank, then tow it to a garage as you clearly dont know what you are doing and are likely to die a very hot death if you try to fix it.


This is what I did a couple of weeks ago- got it fixed for 30 squid without endangering myself.

Empty the tank out fully, get somone to pur some in whilst u under the car, look at the fuel line and see if you can see where its coming out then u can asses the problem depending on big it is!!!

start by getting the car towed to a scrappy, then buying a decent car that doesnt have rotten old pipe work

errm id start by identifing exactly where your leak is and how big it is.

Then if it looks repairable, i'd run the tank dry and attempt to bodge the hole shut with duck tape, some duck tape, a bit more duck tape, and some VERY VERY CAREFULLY APPLIED HEAT

make sure the tanks dry first tho brainz

note: no responsibility will be taken if this all goes horribly wrong :D

find the hole, get your lighter out, and melt the metal untill it welds itself back together.
