Originally posted by Sooty so your saying new manifold and chip will make 35bph?
That is what i am saying, I have a graph that velos gave me Wolf in Welsh Clothings 1.6 It had the full inlet system (not the torque tube) and i believe a unichip then (this was later swaped to dta for higher revs i think) it recorded 147BHP at 7000RPM and the power had not started to fall off. as damo has said this engine was designed with far more power but then restricred for the road and emissions.
Agreed, can be done. Donnas car RR 1 = 109bhp - Remus Exhaust Dons Car RR 2 (Mantzel) = 114bhp, Ind kit, Cat back exhaust Dons car RR 3 = 161bhp, 4-2-1 manifold, cat back exhaust, ind kit, Superchip, mantzel box and lower inlet. More than 35bhp there :P
