vectra is x16xev m8 so lower out put get x18 in there

thought so. would the one in my GSI (M reg) be the same as that in the 1.6 sport and 1.6 ecotec vectra?? (the 1.8 vectra had the X18XE)

Reason i want another is coz i've got the throttle bodies, cams, chip, manifold, PBV etc etc offmy old one. it was running abooot 175 brake and becuse it was light as well it was quite quick........

it was an ecotec GSI so i reckon it was the X16XE as the non ecotec (earlier and much better engine) was the C16XE.....

Not sure tho!

no think the gsi had a c16xe innit but your parts may fit the x16xe

i had an M reg ecotec GSI, is this the X16XE as in the same as the 1.6 sport and 1.6 vectra??

Need a new engine, but want same as before as i have lots of mazin bits for it and it's much lighter thanC20XE!!
