i would say from driving both, focus. The astra i had a go in was a 2.0, focus was only a 1.8, so performance was out the question for the focus, but to drive, focus. astra was good though! bear in mind they are replacing if u r looking new. that applys for both. i would have a panther black foci :P

astra is faster but dynamically the focus is outstanding
