Yer ya have to convert the avi movie into a mpeg1 or 2 I think which is then put onto a CD to make it a VCD (VideoCD). Think if ya get a program like Nero to burn ya CDs it can do it all for ya. I've got this other program to do mine but cant get it to fit a full movie onto just one CD yet.

Won't work in your DVD player unless you convert the avi into a VCD or SVCD which you'll need to get another program thingy to convert it.

To play it on your PC use media player but you just need the right codec for your movie like DivX or Xvid etc. You can get em from http://www.kazaalitekpp.com click on 'codecs' then download the K-lite codec pack, these two versions basic or full, I got the full one (8mb) and all my videos seem to work ok!

goto www.download.com. Search under downloads "divx". Download the Divx5.0.5 bundle, install the program and the driver, and now you can view the AVI's properly. They have just been encoded in divx thats all.
